Thousands to Millions of Colors

are contained in the photo of your dog when it arrives with me. The photographic image is full of life, bursting with shades that the eye cannot even distinguish.

My goal when creating photorealistic embroidery is not a simple copy, but an artistic transformation.

The real challenge lies in minimalism—working with only a selected palette, typically ranging from 5 to 12 colors, instead of an endless array. It’s a shift from the richness of colors to the precision of threads. This demanding reduction requires great sensitivity for shading, transitions, and color selection to preserve your pet's character and details while creating the most perfect, realistic embroidered image possible. The capybara embroidery (on the right) only uses 7 colors :-)

Creating the design is only the first step toward achieving successful realistic embroidery. The dog from the photo truly comes alive thanks to the effort of the passionate embroiderer.
